Nesta semana a Aspacer (Associação Paulista das Cerâmicas de Revestimento) e a Thymos Energia, promoveram uma Live transmitida ao vivo para mais de 300 pessoas, sobre o Novo Marco Regulatório do Gás Natural e seu impacto na retomada econômica do Brasil. O evento digital contou ainda com o apoio da Anfacer (Associação Nacional dos Fabricantes de Cerâmica para Revestimentos, Louças Sanitárias e Congêneres) e do Sindiceram (Sindicato das Indústrias de Cerâmica – Criciúma).
O encontro foi aberto pelo presidente da Thymos Energia, João Carlos Mello, que destacou em seu discurso que o Novo Marco Regulatório do Gás Natural é esperando há muitos anos por toda cadeia produtiva do setor, já que traz resultados benéficos tanto para indústria como o consumidor final. “A estimativa do Ministério da Economia, por exemplo, é que com essa abertura, o preço do gás caia próximo de 40%, sem entrar no mérito do prazo, mas a gente acredita sim na redução gradual”, disse ele acrescentando que, recentemente a Câmara Federal aprovou em regime de urgência a tramitação da Nova Lei do Gás (PL 6407/2013), que propões a diretrizes para esse novo mercado e que aguarda para ser aprovado nos próximos dias na Câmara dos Deputados.
Diretor de relações institucionais e governamentais da Aspacer, Luís Fernando Quilici, destacou que o setor industrial defendeu e continua defendendo que o fator energia é estratégico e determinante no contexto econômico e social em qualquer nação. “No entanto, é preciso que haja um regramento constitucional ou infraconstitucional que tenha um de pano de fundo voltando para políticas públicas de estado e não de governo. Nós necessitamos de um regramento que nos permita enxergar a curto, médio e longo prazos, para que possamos ter o entendimento de que o gás é uma ferramenta extremamente importante para o desenvolvimento do país”, citou.
Participaram também da discussão a Diretora do Departamento de Gás Natural do Ministério de Minas e Energia, Symome Christine de Santa Araújo, o deputado relator da Lei do Gás, Laércio Oliveira (PP/SE), o Presidente da Urca Energia, Maurício Carvalho, o Professor do Instituto de Economia da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Edmar Almeida, o presidente do Sindiceram, Otmar Muller e o presidente do Conselho Administrativo da Anfacer, Manfredo Gouvêa Junior. O encontro também contou com a intervenção assíncrona do professor Carlos Langone, diretor do Centro de Economia Mundial da Fundação Getúlio Vargas e ex-presidente do Banco Central do Brasil, fundamental para embasar as discussões sobre o tema.
