Eric Granado venceu a quarta etapa do SuperBike Brasil 2024, realizada domingo (16/6), no Autódromo de Interlagos, em São Paulo (SP).
Com o resultado, ele ampliou a liderança da categoria principal, a SuperBike Pro. A equipe Honda Racing também foi ao pódio com os pilotos Guilherme Brito, segundo colocado da corrida, e João Carneiro, em quinto lugar. Eles utilizam as motocicletas CBR 1000RR-R Fireblade SP.
No dia anterior, Granado sofreu uma queda e não impôs o seu melhor tempo na disputa da Superpole, que definiu posições para a largada da prova da SuperBike. Do oitavo lugar do grid para a dianteira na segunda volta, o piloto mostrou forte recuperação e agora possui 18 pontos de vantagem sobre o vice-líder, na busca pelo pentacampeonato da SuperBike Pro.
“Foi um fim de semana difícil, machuquei o lado esquerdo do corpo na queda e fiquei bastante dolorido. Quero parabenizar a equipe pelo grande trabalho. O pessoal não dormiu para montar a minha moto, dei o máximo e a vitória é o que todos merecem”, afirma Granado.
Guilherme Brito largou da pole position pela segunda vez na temporada e finalizou a corrida logo atrás do companheiro de time. “Foi uma corrida boa para a Honda Racing, fizemos dobradinha. Foi importante pontuar o máximo possível, na próxima vou tentar a primeira vitória do ano”, disse ele.
João Carneiro garantiu outro lugar no pódio para a equipe Honda Racing.
A quinta etapa do SuperBike Brasil 2024 está programada para o dia 28 de julho novamente no Autódromo de Interlagos.
