Maior vencedor da história da Porsche Cup C6 Bank e dono do maior número de títulos, Miguel Paludo ampliou seu recorde ganhando a corrida 2 da Carrera Cup no Estoril. O gaúcho, vencedor de nove campeonatos com os carros de competição mais produzidos no planeta, venceu pelo menos uma vez por temporada nos últimos dez anos. Ele agora acumula 42 vitórias, considerando corridas de curta e longa duração no evento.
De quebra, assumiu a liderança do campeonato dos carros da geração 992. Considerando os resultados de pista, antes da deliberação dos comissários Paludo tem 166 pontos, contra 159 de Marçal Muller, que terminou a prova na quinta colocação.
O segundo lugar ficou com Thiago Vivacqua, repetindo o resultado da véspera. O piloto do Porsche #10 mostrou todo conhecimento da pista onde mais competiu na carreira e foi o maior pontuador do fim de semana. Peter Ferter foi terceiro, vencendo na Sport, com Christian Hahn e Muller fechando o pódio.
Agora a Porsche Cup C6 Bank retorna ao Brasil. A próxima etapa é a penúltima jornada de sprint de 2024 e acontece em Interlagos, em 24 e 25 de agosto.
